Are your products all-natural?
*Sigh* All-natural wording is misleading because “all-natural” is not regulated so it doesn't mean much to us. However, we hold ourselves to the highest standards in the beauty industry by being EU compliant. Just know that our products are 100% safe.
What is EU Compliant?
Ok, you asked for it...the US bans only 11 items in cosmetics (scary, right?!) but Europe bans over 1,300 items in their cosmetics. They are one of the leaders in the industry for safety. We are proud to say that our products are EU compliant and we will always hold ourselves to the highest standards.
Are you Cruelty-Free?
We are very proud to say that we do not test on animals. You can always count on us to be cruelty-free.
Are Stowaway products Vegan?
Because we include ingredients such as beeswax, we are not 100% vegan. For a full list of ingredients or to learn more about our products, click here.
Are you Gluten Free?
One of our girlfriends once told us, “Make me a gluten-free product and I’ll love you forever.” We are holding her to that promise because, yes, we are 100% gluten-free. You’re welcome, Jen.
How do I know which color is right for my complexion?
We used real complexions on the product pages to help guide you in the right direction. Try clicking on Fair, Light, Medium, or Tan and the image that appears is a woman we feel is most representative of that complexion. If you need additional help figuring out what complexion is right for you, feel free to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I change or cancel my order?
Please contact us immediately at email@example.com or call (888) 789-2219 during business hours ( 9am-5pm EST) if you need to change or cancel your order. Orders can be processed and shipped as quickly as same day. Once our warehouse has processed your order, we will be unable to make any changes.
What if something I ordered arrived damaged?
Contact us right away at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (888) 789-2219 during business hours (9am-5pm EST). We'll make it right!
Can I combine promotions and/or other offers?
Wonderful to hear that you found a special offer! Sadly only one promotional code may be applied to each order.
Can I make adjustments to an order I placed?
We accept one order item adjustment for merchandise purchased at full-price, which has been marked down for the first time. Order adjustment may be made within 14 days from the date you received your order. Order adjustments are not eligible on special promotions, including $'s off and additional free items.
How much does shipping cost?
We’re happy to cover standard shipping costs on orders of $50 or more. Should you only want one or two products, there is a flat $5 cost for standard shipping. Additionally, we offer two forms of expedited shipping for an additional cost: Priority is $10 and Express is $20 (should arrive in 1-2 days).
What shipping methods do you use?
All orders are shipped via USPS.
How long does it take for my order to process
Thank you so much for your order! Each order will take at least one full business day for our warehouse to pack and prepare for shipping! Once your order is shipped out, you will receive a shipping confirmation with the tracking information.
Can I get my order expedited?
Yes! If you are in a time crunch, you can select USPS Priority shipping or USPS Express shipping. Please note, the only money-back guaranteed shipping method is USPS Express.
Can you ship to PO boxes?
Yes, we can! However, not all PO Boxes will accept expedited shipping.
Do you accept orders from international customers?
Unfortunately we're not able to ship internationally quite yet. However, many of our international customers have had their orders shipped to a friend in the US who then forwarded it on to them and that has worked great. If you'd prefer to wait until we are able to ship internationally, that is something we're actively working on!
Why should I Subscribe?
Looking for a simple way to make your makeup easier? Subscribing to one of our solutions saves you time and mental energy. Select the frequency and products that make the most sense for you.
Can I exchange my products from my Subscription?
Of course! We gladly accept exchanges on lightly used or unused items within 30 days of you receiving your item. Please contact email@example.com to request a pre-paid shipping label.
Can I return my products from my Subscription?
We’re sorry to hear that your subscription order didn’t work out for you. If you are looking to return an item and keep the subscription for future orders, we will process the refund to your original payment source within 5 - 10 business days of us receiving the returned item. Given that the refund is requested within 14 days of receiving the item.
When can I Unsubscribe?
Subscriptions are meant to make your life easier! You can unsubscribe at anytime. However, since some of the bundles are marked at a special price, when you unsubscribe within 30 days of receiving your last subscribed products, we do charge the difference between individual products, and subscribed products. Fair’s fair right?
Can I change my subscription?
Of course you can! To change the product or time period please navigate to the Account link at the top of this page and you will be able to adjust or cancel your subscription.
How often should I replenish my products?
If you use Stowaway most days we suggest replenishing your products every 3 months. If you use them a few times a week set it for 4 months. If you only use it when you are on the go or on the road? Every 6 months is great! Just remember that eye products like mascara and eyeliner expires 3 months after you open them so we do recommend considering replenishment on those more frequently.
What Stowaway solutions can I purchase?
While any product can be added to a subscription plan individually (for any time period that makes sense to you) we have three solutions with special prices including eye and complexion solutions.
